SECEC (European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow) publishes an odd-year Europe-to-Japan-and-Korea travelling fellowship organised with the Japanese Shoulder Society and Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society. Official SECEC pages describe visits to eight education centres (four in Japan and four in Korea) over about five to six weeks, usually in October–November, for full SECEC members under 45 who are certified orthopaedic surgeons. Host societies arrange travel and accommodation; applications for the next cycle are stated to open in November 2026.
