PROGRAM OVERVIEW
What this program offers
A one-year private-practice fellowship with more than 700 annual cases, concentrated shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty, elbow trauma and instability, protected research and funded national meetings. A full Oregon licence is required for the clinical post; an unfunded observer/research alternative is available for many international surgeons.
BENEFITS & SUPPORT
Published benefits and support
Three surgical days, one-and-a-half clinic days and a half-day of research weekly; one weekend of level-2 trauma call per month; weekly indications and monthly shoulder conferences; fully funded attendance at two national shoulder conferences; dedicated research time and at least two projects.
Benefits may depend on appointment type, training level, visa status and the active academic year. OrthoFellow keeps stipend and benefits separate so a salary figure is not mistaken for the full package.
