Clinical / academic eligibility
  • Medical degree from a Brazilian school, or a foreign degree revalidated by a Brazilian MEC-recognised university or authorised by CREMERS
  • Completed medical residency in orthopaedics and traumatology
  • Pass the TEOT/SBOT exam (foreign physicians are exempt from this requirement but then cannot sit the Brazilian Hip Society title exam)
