Clinical exposurePost-CCT operative experience in complex degenerative whole-spine conditions, spinal tumours, spinal trauma and spinal cord injury. Trauma and MSCC work is at Stoke Mandeville, with clinical involvement at the National Spinal Injuries Centre (late reconstruction, paralytic scoliosis, Charcot spine; the only centre treating children with spinal cord injury). Elective lists are at Wycombe, which has Globus Excelsius robotic navigation. The job plan has two all-day theatre days, spinal clinics, ad hoc injection lists, a weekly radiology MDT and the daytime spinal on-call with consultant back-up.

A 12-month post-CCT advanced spinal fellowship combining complex degenerative, tumour and trauma spine surgery with spinal cord injury surgery at the National Spinal Injuries Centre.
