PROGRAM OVERVIEW

What this program offers

Twelve-month foot and ankle fellowship at North Tees for post-FRCS or late-stage registrars, linked in the advert to the BOA Future Leaders scheme. Note: The advert and job description tie the post to a 'BOA National Future Leaders Fellowship' and say successful candidates must apply direct to the BOA. The BOA's own Future Leaders Programme page (https://www.boa.ac.uk/learning-and-events/courses/boa-future-leaders-programme.html) describes a 12-month, 30-place leadership programme (GBP 3,450 plus VAT) for which applications for 2026-27 are closed and BOA membership by 1 August 2026 was required. It does not describe a foot and ankle fellowship, so the status of the BOA element for this post is unclear; the trust post itself is advertised and open. Person specification lists FRCS (T&O) as essential while the summary says 'ideally passed' FRCS or finished at least 4 years of registrar training.
