PROGRAM OVERVIEW
What this program offers
A four-position, one-year comprehensive spine fellowship founded in 1991 (108 fellows trained as of August 1, 2026), with heavy adult and pediatric deformity volume and an expectation of at least two research projects or papers.
BENEFITS & SUPPORT
Published benefits and support
Fifteen working days of vacation. Fellows are expected to attend one or two meetings a year (typically SRS or CSRS, possibly AAOS or NASS). Fellows hold an Instructor appointment on the orthopaedic surgery faculty.
Benefits may depend on appointment type, training level, visa status and the active academic year. OrthoFellow keeps stipend and benefits separate so a salary figure is not mistaken for the full package.
