  • Normally the COSECSA FCS(ECSA) orthopaedic fellowship; exemption for MMed (Orthopaedics/Trauma) from a COSECSA country or COSECSA-accredited centre, FRCS or FCS(SA) in orthopaedics and working as a specialist in a COSECSA country, or other equivalent reviewed by the Examination and Accreditation Committee
  • Two years of supervised training in COSECSA-accredited posts
  • Registration with COSECSA for at least two years before the examination
