Clinical exposureAO Trauma host-centre fellowship in a 20-bed trauma department with 500–1,000 orthopaedic trauma cases and more than 150 polytrauma cases (ISS>15) per year; fellows may scrub in. Host scope covers general, paediatric, hand and wrist, foot and ankle, pelvis/acetabulum, fracture-related infections, non-/malunions and bone-anchored prostheses for amputees; the centre is also an osseointegration centre and thoracic trauma referral centre.
