Clinical / academic eligibility
  • British Hip Society member
  • FRCS (Tr&Orth) and on the specialist register
  • Within the first 10 years of consultant practice in hip surgery after an arthroplasty, young adult and/or sports fellowship
  • Documented interest and output in clinical or laboratory research
  • Able to be away for the 4 to 5 week tour and obtain US and Canadian entry visas
  • Proof of vaccinations; TB test or chest X-ray may be required
